Modes of Study:DJ(Disc Jockey)is delivered as a full time programme of study.Supporting materials are available via a virtual learning environment and individual module.

Programme Philosophy and Aims:

The D.J(Disc Jockey)study programme aims to create multi-skilled and versatile graduates who have a strong appreciation of the technology, techniques and aesthetics important in a potential career as a D.J. By taking awoven approach to course design technical and creative modules run hand in hand, supporting students in their development.

 

The aims of the programme are to:Provide a broad range of subjects within the field of D.J to facilitate the development of skills and personal interests in order to promote a wide career choice.

Develop the student intellectually and creatively by combining knowledge of the technology, creative techniques and processes relevant to the audio industry.
Provide an awareness of the legal and ethical issues relating to the music industries
Employ teaching and learning techniques which place emphasis on active and participative education.Encourage acquisition of some of the skills necessary for lifelong learning.

 

Awards: Successful completion of Modules leads to the award of Six Months Full time “Diploma in DJ”.

 

Support for Learning including Personal Development Planning (PDP)

Students are encouraged to identify and, with guidance, to reflect on their own learning needs and are offered the following support as appropriate to meet those needs:
1. A dedicated Learning Centre with open access learning materials, resources and full-time staff specializing in a variety of support areas.
2. A Student Handbook, containing information relating to the institute, Faculty, course and modules.
3. Access to administrative staff and to academic staff, including the Tutors, Module Coordinators, Course Director, Centre Manager and Head of Division, at reasonable times.
4. Access to Faculty resources, including the Computer Centre.
5. Access to the services of the library.
Criteria for admission
Candidates must satisfy the general admission requirements of the programme.

The course lessons will be given in English language and will take place from Wednesday to Sunday.

 

Method of selection :By qualifications and Personal Interview.

 

There is no minimum percentage required to apply. If you are 10+2 and join Disk Jockey (D.J) course your diploma will say “Diploma in Disk Jockey (D.J)” and if you are graduate it would be called “P.G diploma in Disk Jockey (D.J)”. The course content and class room remains same. Students who are appearing for their 12th / final year exam of graduation can also apply.

 

Attendance Requirements:

Attendance at lessons is obligatory and the minimum requirements for issue of the certificate are:
– Registration of attendance (for a total of no less than 70% of the total duration of the
Lessons and 70% for the period of the ‘stage’);
– Passing of the final test

 

STUDENT PLACEMENT

As part of our student marketing and promotion campaign we incorporate many ways to boost their careers even while studying.
We teach them the correct way to create online presence, how to start and maintain an independent music business or collaborations and provide them the opportunity to work alongside many industry specialists at live events and studio productions.

Course Fees:

6 Months : Rs 50,000/- only,  payable at the time of admission

3 Months : Rs 25,000/- only,  payable at the time of admission

1 Month : Rs 10,000/- only,  payable at the time of admission
